AllianceBernstein L.P. reported a drop in preliminary assets under management to $900 billion at the close of September 2026, down from $919 billion recorded at the end of August, the Nashville-based investment firm announced Monday.
The $19 billion decline represents a roughly 2% month-over-month contraction in the firm's AUM base. AllianceBernstein, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker AB, operates as both AllianceBernstein L.P. and its publicly listed affiliate AllianceBernstein Holding L.P.

AllianceBernstein manages assets across a range of strategies including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments for institutional, retail, and private wealth clients globally. The September figure represents a preliminary reading, meaning a final reconciled number could differ modestly.
