Bold Penguin Opens AI Exchange Infrastructure to Carriers and Brokers
Bold Penguin has launched DeX ai, exposing its Digital Exchange intelligence to insurers and brokers via APIs, MCP servers, and agent-to-agent connections.
Columbus, Ohio-based Bold Penguin has made its proprietary artificial intelligence infrastructure available to outside carriers and brokers through a newly launched product called DeX ai, the company announced Sept. 24, 2026. The platform serves as the intelligence layer powering Bold Penguin's own Digital Exchange and is now accessible to industry partners through multiple integration pathways.
The company is offering access via application programming interfaces, a Model Context Protocol server, and direct agent-to-agent connections — a range of technical options designed to accommodate varying levels of technological sophistication among potential partners. The move signals a strategic shift from Bold Penguin using the technology exclusively in-house toward positioning it as shared commercial infrastructure across the commercial insurance distribution ecosystem.
