Kraken Parent Payward Ties Up With Singapore Gulf Bank for Round-the-Clock Settlement
Payward integrates SGB Net to offer 24/7 real-time clearing for institutional clients across Asia and the Gulf region.
Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken, has partnered with Singapore Gulf Bank to deliver around-the-clock settlement capabilities to institutional digital asset clients, the companies announced from Sydney on Oct. 4, 2026.
The integration centers on SGB Net, Singapore Gulf Bank's proprietary real-time clearing network. Through the arrangement, institutional clients operating in Asia and the Gulf region will be able to settle transactions instantly regardless of the hour, eliminating the delays associated with traditional settlement windows that have long been a friction point in institutional crypto markets.

The partnership also extends to liquidity sourcing. Singapore Gulf Bank will onboard Kraken Prime — Payward's institutional trading arm — as an additional provider of digital asset liquidity, deepening the pool of resources available to SGB's institutional client base.

Real-time clearing has become an increasingly competitive differentiator as institutional appetite for crypto exposure grows and counterparties demand tighter operational controls.
