Metallus Q3 2026 Earnings Rise on Revenue and Profit Gains
Metallus posted net sales of $337.2M in Q3 2026, up 10% year over year, as net income nearly tripled from the year-ago period.
Metallus reported third-quarter 2026 net sales of $337.2 million, a 10% increase compared with the same period a year earlier, the company announced. Net income climbed to $23.8 million, a sharp improvement from $8.1 million recorded in the third quarter of 2025 and $8.9 million in the second quarter of 2026.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization reached $34.5 million for the quarter, reflecting a 19% sequential gain and a 19% increase year over year. The results suggest momentum is building across consecutive reporting periods, with both top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability moving in the same direction.

The company also invested $13.1 million during the quarter, according to the earnings release, signaling continued commitment to capital deployment even as profitability improved. The combination of rising income and ongoing investment spending indicates management is balancing near-term returns with longer-term operational priorities.
The back-to-back profit gains — from $8.1 million a year ago to $23.8 million in the most recent quarter — represent nearly a threefold increase, underscoring a significant turnaround in earnings performance over a twelve-month span. Analysts and investors will likely scrutinize whether the adjusted EBITDA trajectory can be sustained into the fourth quarter.
